"MUSIC FOR THE SOUL"
This concert celebrates what could be considered to be different aspects of spirituality, from the themes of festive Christmas of Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, to various aspects of spiritual texts, including liturgical music and contemplative poetry. With this performance, the Scherzo Female Chamber Choir wishes to reaffirm their commitment to signature music produced in our times by Albert Guinovart, Josep Maria Guix, and Ramon Humet, including new pieces of which some are specifically dedicated to the Choir.
