The Scherzo Choir sings Pergolesi's Stabat Mater

This Wednesday, July 30^th 2014, the Scherzo Choir will perform Pergolesi's Stabat Mater. The performance will take place at Calella de Palafrugell with the Orquestra de Cambra Barroca of Barcelona and vocal soloists Esther Ribot (soprano) and Víctor Jiménez (counter tenor), conducted by David Malet.

The concert will be held at Saint Peter's Church at 10pm. The repertoire will consist of the following works:

Giuilo Cesare in Egitto, G. F. Händel (1685-1759)

Cantata italiana in lode di Sta. Cecilia, G. F. Händel (1685-1759)

Stabat Mater, G. B. Pergolesi (1710-1736)
